Looks like it's either 899 or 999. That's all I can find. And Camping world is 899. I have no idea how long you'd be waiting for shipping.
Should we keep looking for you? (are you coming back?)
Thanks for the leads guys.
2oldman, Im wasn't asking for anyone to search for me , but if anyone had a retailer that discounts they were happy with and wanted to shae the info. Usefull for me and lots of others that might read this. I've found several good vendors Im really happy with , just reading a thread like this.
Again, thanks! - dieseltruckdrivExplorer IIOne person that camps with us regularly has a pair of Champion 2000s. I like that they will stack, but he says the two of them paralleled will not run his AC. The few times I have run my AC off our 2 Honda 2000s, they worked flawlessly.
I have over a thousand hours on one of mine, and it is my favorite, because I bought it new, and it always works, no matter what. The other I bought used and works after I spent several hours in the carb.
If I were buying today, I would probably go with the Champions, but they are not as quiet, or as reliable as the rest of the groups Hondas (which is 8 generators with 5 campers). - 2oldmanExplorer II

I think Honda Genny's are overpriced. Gimme a Champion anyday (I have one). - ScottGNomadRather than the eu2000i, I would buy the latest Yamaha 2400 inverter gen. It's as quiet as the Honda and has the extra power I often find we need.
It can start a 13.5K A/C at idle (I've seen it) and only runs slightly above idle to keep it going. - samsontdogExplorerI bought 5 EU3000, and EU2000 off Craigs list and resell for each at $200 profit

They’re not cheap, but they run. I’ve had many that get the tar beat out of them daily. Oil changes on a $1000 tool are non existent on $50000000 projects. Saw one of ours a couple years ago with over 1000 hours on it.
Just gotta wait for the deals. Found a used one that looked like c rap a few years ago. Color was sun faded to pink and all beat up. Gave $450 for it. It had less than 100 hours on it. - GeoBoyExplorer

Honda EU2000i on sale right now at Camping World for $899.00
EU2000i Companion for $999.00 (members price)
I have one of each because my old TT with a 13.5 AC needed two small generators to run it . If you only need 1 Honda 2000i then I would get the standard 2000i because it comes with the ability to act as a battery charger where the Companion doesn’t. - Sloop_SmittenExplorerHonda EU2000i on sale right now at Camping World for $899.00

The OP asked about a Honda, not junk from China. - towproExplorerI tried to buy a 2nd one from Gander Mountain when they went belly up.
It was marked up to $1299.99 with 20% off. = $1039.20
but when the GM was still in business, they were selling them for $999.99
