- wittmebaExplorerIt's a shame they don't have a way to measure the amount of fuel you put into your vehicle over it's life - a meter on the fill hole for fuel.
It would be so simple to get your average mileage if they did. - bmanningExplorerWhen I read of problems with high-tech fuel pumps, sensors getting wonky, etc., I can chalk that up to complexity but, to me, serial radiator failure is unacceptable.
The team that designed and implemented the cooling system on the 6.4L PSD should be grinning at their shoes.
Or, perhaps the cost control team that told the cooling system engineers to come back with a less expensive proposal should be grinning at their shoes...
Either way, unacceptable. - ForestGumpExplorer

10.1 MPG. Guess they lie as advertised. Hey at least it's running :B
Another troll! - modern_familyExplorer200,000 miles, but didn't I read a new engine? IMO, I wouldn't be bragging about that.

Put another 100 large on the ol' 6.4L company truck this week. (well not all of it this week :B)
Who said it couldn't be done. :B
With that track record, I hope your company is saving for another new motor. Putting on that kind of mileage, it will be a couple months away.
I am not sure that it can't be done. Or too many would have deep enough pockets to do it. Certainly, I would have dumped that turd off, way before going after the mileage record. Not to mention the Pixx Poor fuel mileage. - Turtle_n_PeepsExplorer

4 radiators, in tank (lift) fuel pump, engine oil cooler, new engine @120,000mi, new engine oil cooler on the new engine, three sets of tires.
Still running the original brakes. Air filter starting to draw the filter minder, so I'll probably change it soon.
And wiper blades....... About 10 sets over the last 5 years.
Gesus, 6 to 7 grand in radiators alone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No wonder people that own some brand of diesels say upkeep is very expensive. :E
That truck was totaled with all the parts that were put on it. :E - Engineer9860ExplorerDon-

If you have time to lean, you have time to clean! Or that's what our old boss used to tell us anyway. :R :B
Don - Engineer9860ExplorerOne of my co-workers penned a little greeting to me. They all know how annoyed I get when my truck gets dirty because I haven't had time to keep it clean.
About a week ago I braved temps just above freezing to wash all the road salt and grime from a winter storm we had in early December........Just don't like driving a dirty truck. At least now the outside is clean. - AlmostAnOldGuyExplorerOkay, I can't quite make it out. What is written in the dust below the instruments?
p.s.
Congratulations on the Eagle Scout.
