$118/yr. for my 2005 2500HD,licensed to 10,000.

60 bucks for registration, a hair under 40 for annual safety/emissions test.

for vehicles 6000 to 10,000 lbs. registration is 64 bucks. Make the jump to 10K-18K and it's 120 bucks :E

TN is $26 a year

In CT, truck reg goes by GVWR. It does not decrease with age either. No emissions on 10k+, Combination plates up to 12,500 (over that it goes to Commercial). Hence, when I get my new Dually it will be registered at 12k GVWR instead of 14k sticker rating. I do 't see me towing anything that will have that much pin weight.

In Louisiana, four year truck plates registered for $40.00. Vehicle Inspection sticker two years $20.00. All trailers permanently registered plates one time fee $70. No emissions checks.

here where I am in CO, the F250 was around $670 when I registered it after buying this summer...most of that is the ownership tax which will start to drop next year when it's 3 years old..just registered our Infinity 5'er & it was almost $1500 since it was new!!

There is no EXACT $300 registration fee for pickup trucks in PA, not sure as to where you are getting your info but PA uses a TIERED registration fee system based on REGISTERED GROSS WEIGHT of said vehicle.

Gross Weight is the curb weight (unloaded) + max cargo weight.

To get anywhere close to $300 you would have be registered as Class 6 (F450/550?) (4,001 - 17,000 lbs GROSS WEIGHT) which the fee is $288 per year or had to buy the combination registration for non RV towing combinations exceeding 21K lbs.

To put that into perspective my 2013 ¾ ton truck is registered as Class 3 (7,001-9,000 lbs GROSS weight) and costs $153 per year. I could have registered it as class 4A which is 9,001-10,000 Gross weight and would cost $198 per year.

We do have a annual inspection (general mechanical like ball joints, brakes, tires lights and no major rustouts) of about $30 per year and some but not all counties have an additional emissions inspection (my county doesn’t so I don’t know what that cost is)..
