Cherokee 2011 26bh TT Problem

After pulling my TT 30 miles for the first time to a campground and staying a couple of nites, I found a coyple of what looks like metal bands underneath my trailer had broken off and layingvon the ground. They looked corroded... I didnt know what to do but fold em up n put overtop of the two axles and pulled the TT back home... can anyone tell mexwhats happened and if/ how to repair problem?
  • Called Forest River n they said the bands attached to my fresh water tank... Ill just have to replace them and reenforce my freshxwater tank...
  • Called an RV service technician and was told he had seen it bedore... the straps assisting w supporting the underbelly insulation had corroded n snapped... he said to verify if they were not needed n either replace or cut them off on their other side n forget about it...ill probably replace em... just wondering if anyone else has had this priblem with a TT underbelly?
  • 2 metal straps formerly attached to the underbelly area in front of the grey n black tanks...
  • Without knowing the exact location I can only guess. Straps for holding/securing drain lines, or support for the fresh water / gray / black tank. And, if you have an enclosed underbelly, I have seen these used to support a sag in the membrane.
  • I wonder if they were hanging brackets for the sewer lines on the camper? Pics would help this a lot.
  • We're going to need more information. length/width/thickness? Where did they come from if you know? A photo would be extremely helpful.
