- kw_00ExplorerWell shucks I've been doing this all wrong. Sell my 09 HD and hook up the ol fifth wheel to the C10. J/k! Loved the video I saw it years ago at a car show. The truck looks a little bent in the middle but impressive. I'm thinking they had the big block pull that load....

That damphool ABS brakes that causes people to crash hadn't been invented yet... - blt2skiModeratorIf you look at the video carefully, You will see something in the passenger seat, which to me looks like some kind of air brake unit. I could be wrong.....but something appears to be there to make those brakes stop the trailer!

Which default to "on" not off when air pressures is lost...
They either added a compressor and manual brake valve to the Chevy, or caged all the trailer brake drums. If they went with option 2, on any type of hill it would be like trying to stop a 40 foot 5th wheel with a motorcycle.- notevenExplorer III
