I have been hearing that a 6.2 is in the works. I cant point to any GM sourced info but I still believe that they will bring this motor out in the HD line. It will have to be iron or some type of infused graphite block perhaps. The 6.0 as great as it is will need cylinder deactivation at some point (even though it has marginal value in a HD pickup). If you look at the numbers the 6.0 lags, regardless of how well it actually performs, they are losing HD gas customers that exclude the 6.0 simply off the spec sheet. So they need to offer something more, and the 6.0 has nothing left to give. The rumors are too many to not have some validity to them.
