Yeah.... apples vs oranges.
I've drove more GM trucks than other brands but the F150 hands down for towing duties and a DD.
Small engines in DRW trucks years back along small low performance engines in a 1/2 ton never worked out for me.
Most of the time some of the bigger engines got about the same MPG as a DD and especially towing duties and a much better performing truck .
