Not to go OT, but in the same vein; I'm doing my due diligence.. I also would like to stay away from a dually or a long bed as I think we'll be driving the truck alone quite a bit while on our 2 month+ trips. I would likely go with a 2500 Duramax 4wd, 2nd choice a F250... I am liking the Cherokee Wolf Pack 305WP. Specs show 9500lb UVW, w/2500lb cap. The two bikes weigh 1700lb. Looks like it will work on paper, appreciate hearing from experience. Note, I was the one wanting to do a bumper hitch model with my Tahoe.........
