Best part, less stopping for pocket-busting fill ups.
Less expensive, probably.
Got a line on low cost or free electricity? Yosemite can just deal with the pocket busting electric bills instead. And don't forget the fuel tax / road tax shift that will be coming once EV's reach a high enough percentage of what is on the highway. Guess what happens to the cost of electricity when demand increases and supply decreases?
Less expensive? ROFLMAO.
I'm the one who's laughing now! Evidently you haven't kept up with the technology and how it works (Google is your friend), or really thought any of this through. It's really not expensive at all to recharge electric vehicles. Not to mention that most of us are already paying for it at most CGs. People are happy to pay extra for running their AC at some CGs, so even if they want a couple extra bucks a night to recharge a vehicle battery it's still far cheaper than gas.
Yes, at some point they are going to have to shift the tax burden. Half a dozen of one, six of another. Roads aren't free. We're going to pay for it no matter what motive power is used for vehicles.
