In my area, we have:
2 coal fired plants.
2 nuclear plants.
4 dams for hydro.
1 waste incinerator.
1 natural gas fired plant.
1 oil fired turbine.
There are no reasonable plans on how to decommission the nuclear plants at end of life. (3 Mile Island is one)
The dams are aging and it will be impossible to deal with the extreme amount of sludge backed up in front of these **** dams.
The power companies have taken 100% of the river front property and have numerous power lines in my school district and less taxes for schools and local use is the result.
Green, maybe in other neighborhoods at the expense of those of us that don't matter.
Ask Sam how to deal with all of those issues. :B
