I wonder what country we would have been if we don't have the yes we can and have the Mr Magoo's on this thread.
The Wright Brothers would have given in to people telling them that the better genius Da Vinci failed several centuries ago on manned flight.
Or Ford being told and got convinced that horses will be unemployed with his contraption.
And who among these same people said there was no future for EV when it was introduced with the laughable 30 miles range.
Then said that Tesla won't be viable because there are not enough charging facilities in the country. And now its everywhere, all over Europe and even in cities in China.
The same people who can't connect the dots that Tesla is already testing a semi on 50,000 lbs load -- and that in engineering, scaling down (to trucks) will be a lot less formidable.
Or, if it's not doable in trucks, Ford, GM and other start ups won't even waste their money and piss off their investors with their investments into EV trucks flushed down the drain.
