Agree. That's why the holy grail of range for EV truck is 500 miles to go in parity with the full tank range of Chevy Silverado.
And hopefully the difference in higher sticker price fo the EV truck will make up for the savings on gas and maintenance.
But in F150 price tag of $45K and Tesla's proposed price of $49K, Tesla might come out ahead in total cost of ownership over the economic life of each truck.
Yes. The cheapest Tesla available now is 35400. On line the cheapest is now around 39000. The average model 3 price is just under 50,000 as the high performance models are mid 70’s.
