What I have been reading about EV range has been reported by BEV owners rather than projections (like what you see in Tesla's software giving you charge range planning based on your route).
I still see BEV use as a niche application and am waiting for some of the hurdles to clear before I can commit to one. My cyclical replacement for vehicles is 10-15 years, so I am at least five years out before considering another one. Longevity of a BEV vehicle's charge capacity over such a time period is something else I am following.
