The only place I have seen a fast charger at a McDonald’s was when it was co-located at a group of level 2’s. The fast charger would be handy for out of towners picking up a quick meal.
I would like to see more public level 2 stations in our area for the apartment dwellers etc. Shopping areas, Starbucks, restaurants etc. They are coming but slowly.
When I was working for Unilever, we have such products, while loss leaders, are called traffic builders (bringing in customers).
This is just a new twist to the concept, lol.
In Amsterdam, there are McD's are on the first floor of the pleasure house in the red light district.
