Some things made in China are of good quality, but you pay for it, just like you would pay more for an item of similar quality made here in the states.
You hit the nail on the head. An example of this is our bikes. They are Treks. They are made in China. They are solid, well built, and made to last. But that's because they are speced out to be built that way.
