This could be a fun event for anyone looking for something to.do in that area. Overnight at Walmart.
The north Wal-Mart has banned overnight parking recently. I don't know about the one in the valley, on Sprague.
Even if the one in the Shadle area allows overnight parking, it's the last place I'd want to overnight in town, in a parking lot. Too much traffic, and shady people in that area.- Camper_Jeff___KNomad III

We recently stayed at a Walmart that said it didn't allow overnight stays but we asked and were given permission.
To tell you the truth, I'd be more concerned about security parked in the downtown Spokane area than the Walmart.
We stayed at the Walmart in Spokane near a lot of expensive class A's and didn't have any trouble. That was on the way to the rally in Glacier NP a couple years ago and it served the purpose well. It was just a suggestion. There are plenty of places to stay in the area.
Riverfront Park itself is a nice place to visit. - lonegunmanExplorerThere is a Wally world in Airway Heights as well and one on East Sprague that both allow campers and have a few folks every night.
