Programmer=no Warranty. Dodge will void parts of your driveline if not the entire driveline if you use any kind of aftermarket programmer.
I have a 2011 Ram 3500 dually and while the fuel mileage is not the best the power is fantastic and I don't have the HO. Who buys one of these for fuel mileage anyway?
If you are referring to the HO as "high output", the Cummins have all been HO since 2004.5.
From what I have read, that is not entirely accurate. For example, in 2011-12, there were 3 versions of the 6.7 diesel available, one with manual tranny with less HP and torque, one with the 6 speed 6RFE tranny with 350 HP and 660lbs of torque and the HO model with 800lbs of torque.
For 2013, there is same engine with the manual tranny with low HP and torque, The 6speed 6RFE version with 350HP and 800lbs torque and the HO model with the Aisin tranny and 850lbs of torque and 370HP.The HO version has a dual inlet active air intake system that switches between inlets to insure the coolest air is drawn.
