my 7.3 seems very underpowered compared to any of the new new trucks. but I haven't and won't chip it because I am happy with what it does. if I had a newer truck I would be very happy with it and I would not mess with it.
But I certainly agree with Super Dave's idea that we all have Tim the Tool man inside us urging us to tweak things up. I've been there and done that.

On my recent trip from Sydney to Perth, 4162km's, 3 weeks ago, I would suggest 1 in 12 tow vehicles for RV's was an American pickup.
