A bunch of FCA vehicles caught fire and burned up (in 2 incidents) in 2 FCA holding lots in Toledo last week.According to FCA, they are investigating.Never made it to dealers, burned up waiting to get shipped. That don't bode well IMO.

I've experienced this in our 2015 3500. Scary. I was going to bring it up when they did the waterpump and shifter recall but I forgot. Now we wait for the notices.

other reports state it will be fixed by a software update/ flash - so no waiting for parts.shouldn't take long , I hate not having cruise control.

Well shoot! I'm already hitched up and ready to start an 800 mile road trip.

edit: so I called my local Fiat dealer, and they haven't heard of this, but the service guy said that's common, updates from Fiat HQ usually take weeks beyond when they're released to the news media.
