For our trucks, the normal oil is 10W-30. 15W-40 is for temperatures above 20 degrees. I see temperatures below zero at times so there are few options left.

There's a lot of 5w 40 syn oils out there as well. OOD (obsessive oil disorder) can get the best of some though and they get lost in an oil debate when they could be out changing the oil in their vehicle.......
