No. Too risky. Soft brush, RV rubber roof cleaner, a gentle garden hose sprayer, and follow up with RV rubber roof conditioner. The conditioner really treats the roof and keeps it nice and slick.
Folks will put tons of wax on the side of their campers and claim it's easier to remove the black streaks that way. Well, they ignore the roof, never clean it, treat it, or do anything with it. It gets dirty and then the black streaks form. Keep the roof clean and your gutters and you won't have near the black stream problem.
