The 2007.5 has a different engine and tranny combination than your 2006. Many on these forums have said their 2007.5 and newer Rams slam gears when using EB or T/H in city driving.
You said a " 2007" not a "2007.5" :B Yes a slight change happened in that .5 model which I avoided for some reason :W Sounds like you found the fix.
