Clueless- how do I get my travel trailer running again?

After hours of trying to "Google" what exactly the powermaxx converter does in our travel trailer, I decided to post here. My husband is stuck on rig so I'm trying to see what options I have. We took ...

Like a law suit for them having a 30 amp female end on a 240 volt outlet that would enable you to plug into it. The ends are not the same so it should be impossible to plug a 30 amp cord into a 240 volt outlet.
