Clueless- how do I get my travel trailer running again?

After hours of trying to "Google" what exactly the powermaxx converter does in our travel trailer, I decided to post here. My husband is stuck on rig so I'm trying to see what options I have. We took ...

Actually, the water heaters rely on 12-volts for gas operation on a Direct Spark Ignition water heater and the air conditioner needs 12-volts for the circuit board if a ducted type unit.
