- jwbond52ExplorerI'm on my second Coachmen. First a Captiva, and now a Catalina. No complaints from me about either one.
- UncleDonaldExplorerWe just bought a new freedom express, on our first trip and love it.
- prujakExplorerWe have a 2013 Coachmen Freedom Express 281RLDS. We bought it last fall and love it. It has a rear living room and sleeps six. Great for the wife and I.
- bradnailerExplorerWe have had a Freedom Express since May and after almost a month of camping in it, we have been quite pleased with it.
- mark5wExplorerCoachman was on our final list also. I would be more concerned about where you are buying it from. One of your local dealers (by Cabela's) does not have a good reputation. That was the deciding factor for me. Check them out on the BBB. As far as the Coachman RV, that exterior panel is rated one of the best. Good luck with your choice.

We love our TT, but...the only thing I would change is to have a window above the master bed!
My last one had a window at the head of the bed, and it was awful.
As already pointed out, you can't prop pillows up against the window shades, plus there are "privacy issues" involved. One of the things we really like about the Catalina is no window over the bed. - mlts22Explorer IIAzdel is a deal-maker, and luan is a deal-breaker. I would not buy a TT without either Azdel or solid-sided aluminum.
- wannavolunteerFExplorerGo Dogs, think really hard before you buy a TT with the window at the head of the bed.. my previous TT had one.. and the release for the emergency escape stuck out so that it was hard to get comfortable to sit propped in bed and read. My parents MH had an escape latch that was easy to bump during the night.. if you scooted your pillow or head or arm against the wall you could bump the latch and oops your window came open. Then you had to go outside, get a ladder and push it shut... Just what I want to do in freezing temp at 2 AM..
- TerryallanExplorer IIWe have a 2013 Coachmen APEX 288BS. Although it is only in it's second season. I like it alot. It doesn't leak, Has plenty of room, Really does sleep 10. It tows like a dream, brakes work better than the last one, and it is of course, super lite.
Is it perfect? No. But it's pretty good. Only thing I have had to fix. The drain under the sink was leaking. I tightened it, and it good, And I ran a bead of caulk beside the bathroom sink.
Plus it smells good. New, but not the eye burning odor of many. - Go_DogsExplorer'My TT reminds me of Amish women. No jewelry, no high heels or mini-skirts. But strong and completely reliable.'
I have the Catalina 25RKS and never thought of it that way!
We do think that Gloria is strong and reliable- love the big kitchen and bathroom. I don't cook inside, other than a crock pot and electric kettle, but I have plenty of prep room. The exterior door to the bathroom is so useful. You can use the bathroom while stopped at a rest stop, without worrying about extending the slide, and grab a snack out of the fridge!
We love our TT, but...the only thing I would change is to have a window above the master bed!
