Splitting the plumbing will definitely improve the situation. Even after that, too much pressure in the bags will also add to the side to side sway. It's a balancing act between getting the lift you want but not using so much pressure that you get that bobbling affect.
Another thing to check is the shocks. Factory shocks are generally pretty wimpy and a firmer shock can help reduce the spring rebound that causes that side to side sway.
