1st off, buy your fuel at a place that turns over fuel often. In other words, they sell a lot of fuel and what they have on hand doesn't sit in their tanks forever. Major truck stop chain or perhaps a local place where you see public utilities fuel up their trucks. Can always ask the advice of local highway department.
I wouldn't trust Power Serve as far as I could throw it. Our company has it, so we use it. Mixed results. PS is a a form of anti-gel. 9-1-1 is what you use AFTER you gel up, but don't use a lot of it as it's designed for whole bottle use in a semi. For anti-gel additives: Howes (guaranteed not to gel) or Hot Shot Secret anti-gel. I've use Howes and HSS with no problems.
For summer use: Hot Shot Secret Diesel Every Day. Very happy with this stuff and have been using it for past 5+ years.
