Coldest you have camped with no heated tanks.

Daveisenvy has a good thread going. But I'm wondering how cold have you all camped with the trailers that don't have heated grey or black tanks?

  • Mid 30s.....Ocala Forest.....2013! Full hook ups, furnace set on 60, ceramic heater running, slept like a baby !
  • Two nights in the mid-20's. We had electric hookup so kept a ceramic heater running which kept it above freezing in the living part of the MH. Furnace warmed us up to 65 degrees in 10 minutes or so in the morning. Kept cabinet doors open at night. Fresh water tank was 3/4 full and holding tanks each about 1/4 full- I don't think they froze. Was in the upper 40's when we dumped and that went well.
  • Last week in northern fl....Suwannee River State Park....25 degrees.
  • Rock salt down the toilet works wonders on keeping the toilet from freezing to a point. A coffee can full is what I use.
  • 15 at mesa vera in colorado no damage, but had to move to warmer weather to dump
  • 9 degrees F. Black and Grey Tanks were only 1/3 full and there was enough room for ice expansion without shattering the tank.
