Coleman 192RD input or other recommendations for couples TT

We are downsizing. Kids are older now and doing their own thing. Looking at couples TT and found this model to our liking.

Wondering if anyone had any experience with this model or recent Coleman interaction. We ordered our current Springdale new 10 years ago and it has given us great service but they dont offer any floor plans that appeal to us.
If anyone has a couples TT recommendation let me hear it. We want no slides and just a bed for us. Traveling light and heading out on farther, longer trips. We dont spend much time in the unit unless the weathers bad.
  • I bought a Coleman TT new. It is a good entry level TT - as Crashogre confirms, but if I were in your shoes, I'd be looking at Lance or something a little higher end like Nash, or Artic Fox.
  • If you don't need much room, the Coleman Lantern 16FB works pretty well for my wife & I. It had the one feature we wanted which was a Queen bed that allows entry from the two sides of the bed. There are no slides and its not fancy but it works for the two of us and our Pyr. Its basically an entry level trailer made by Dutchmen.
  • Try the new Lance 1475. No slide and two easy chairs, with an east/west bed and a dry bath! You can't beat all the stuff packed into this new Lance! There is a video on the link below.

  • We really like our Starcraft Launch Ultra Light 21FBS. While it does have a slide, there is also a walk-around bed and bigger tanks. Also has an 8 cubic foot refrigerator, which I find phenomenal for a trailer this size. At 8 feet wide, it feels very open and airy. The smaller units we looked at (narrower, no slide, etc.) were too claustrophic for me. We got it new late last summer so have had it out a couple of times last fall -- no real issues so far -- and are really looking forward to our first full season with it.
  • Forest River has a couple of models that may fit - the Flagstaff Microlite 19FD/23FB or Rockwood Minilite 1905/2304. Both have walk-around beds and no slides.
  • We are a couple too and that floor plan would not work for us. The bed, stuffed in the corner would be a problem (we had one like that and realized early on that it was not a good design.)

Also there is some kind of shelf over half the bed making it even more claustrophobic and restrictive. The galley has absolutely no counter space either.

But, that's us coming from OUR experience with what has and hasn't worked for us.
If this unit looks like it would fit your needs....then go for it.
  • Thanks Bob. I like that unit. We still sleep in a double bed at home and as such still climb all over each other, lol.
  • As we get older climbing over each other is not as apealing as it was! Especially when nature calls in the middle of the night. So we opted for a walk around bed. We now have a Shadow Cruiser 195wbs.
