coleman mach analog thermostat

I have a Coleman mach analog thermostat in my 2006 frontier explorer. I had to replace it for a new digital thermostat but the wiring schematics don't match the wires that I have coming out of the wall. I have 2 white wires, 1 black. 1 red, 1 yellow and a brown wire with 2 wires coming out of it(1 red and 1 white)? Unfortunately when I undid the wires from the old thermostat I didn't pay attention to which colours it was hooked up to. My old thermostat has 1 blue, 1 yellow, 1 green, 1 white, 1 yellow, 1 grey and 1 red wire. The red wire was attached to the red wire coming out of the brown and the white wire was attached to the other white wire coming out of the brown wire. I don't even think that i need the brown wire but I don't know. I know that this all sounds very confusing but i really could use a helping had if anyone has a clue about the wiring schematics. The model # for the coleman thermostat is 7330e335. My new thermostat is a honeywell digital.

  • Might try rvcomfort.com. They are the current manufacturer of Coleman Mach a/c's and may have the wiring schematic on line. I contacted them about a replacement digital thermostat for my analog. They told me which one was the correct digital replacement for my Coleman Mach but they don't sell retail. I was able to order it from my local rv dealer. I haven't installed it yet.
  • Search coleman mach in youtube. There are several informative videos on upgrading to a digital, both the cheaper version and the more expensive one with fan speed control...and how to put a fan speed switch in a cheaper one.

    Good luck
  • HERE is a Coleman Mach analog t-stat to Hunter Digital T-stat.

    Hopefully it will help.

Unfortunately your trailer mfg. didn't use typical color wiring going up to t-stat......urggggg! (and you didn't mark them before removing from old t-stat...shame :B )

    Good luck

    Typical wiring
    One 'Hot' 12V + to t-stat
'hot' is sent to the A/C compressor (Y)
'hot' is sent to a/c fan (G/Hi speed-----GY/Lo speed)
'hot' is sent to furnace (W)

Using a meter....find which wires are hot, then touch it to the other wires and see what runs then mark it.
