Hi All,I have some friends who are in the market for new travel trailer. They are interested in the Coleman brand......I own a Kodiak and can tell them the pros/cons of that brand and some others from my shopping experiences but I don't have any knowledge about Coleman and the quality of their travel trailers. Any advice and guidance is much appreciated.......thanks in advance!

AT one time Coleman was the word for quality. My first pop up was a coleman. I am not sure, but I thought "Fleetwood" bought Coleman. But again, I think I heard that years back. Regardless... I absolutely hate my 2000 Fleetwood Terrie 30 foot TT. Poor quality. Cheap construction. Basically a pile of rot waiting for a tow truck to come and take it to the junk yard. Just my opinion... Just my 2 cents.

I've got it's twin a dutchmen, the same floorplan in the coleman was $3000 more for the same quality, i'd pass.

Coleman is now just a name owned by Dutchmen. It is not the Coleman company of years past that made first class PUP's.

They were Very high quality when they were independent. Now they're pretty run of the mill.
