I would not pay for any kayak without first trying it on the water.
Those fold-able things look good on the picture, but they can be really annoying when in use.
Even non-fold-able kayaks come in very different qualities.
I bought canoe 2 years ago at Walmart.
The strong-looking canoe with motor transom was 90 lb, making it pretty hard to carry around, yet the plastic would flap while on the lake.
I refunded it at Walmart and bought high-quality 45 lb fiberglass canoe that makes me happy.
Carry it on the roof over AC unit just fine.
