Collapsible Water Hose

They are sold at CVS Pharmacy (in Indiana), and at WalMart.

The collapsible hoses are not any good for drinking water. Mine works good for doing windshield and washing the rig.

i have to ask... how would you hook it up? i mean it is colapsed and you need to turn it on to hook it to your coach ....huh?

Those hoses CANNOT be left ON....they are only good for sporatic watering...be sure to read the label....Dennis

Two weeks ago we were camping and a family with a new rig was parked next to us. They tried to use a collapsible green hose (the ones sold at CVS and Walmart) and it did not go well. The hose didn't last the weekend - it was leaking everywhere and wouldn't hold pressure. I loaned him my spare hose to fill up his onboard tanks, and he went the next day to get a regular hose.

Don't waste your money. I bought two as did a neighbor. Within a week of normal garden hose use around the house, three of the four between us had split open. They will not hold normal pressure for any length of time.

The ones you see at Walmart and pharmacies are not good. More than once we have seen them not be more than a week old and leak like crazy. Now, we have one of those that rolls up and you can store 50 feet in a fraction of the space. We bought it at camping world. We only use it for washing, but seems to work just fine.
