Exactly. There are short range EVs, mid range EVs, and long range EVs. All these stories prove is that people are buying EVs without doing any research into what they need nor are they making sure their purchase is appropriate for those needs.
This is really no different than the person who buys a 45ft motorhome and then whines that they can't get into their favorite fishing spots. Or the person who buys a massive 5er and doesn't make sure their truck can handle it.
