Apparently the new GM’s and Tesla half tons may have more range. Time will tell.
Hope so.
And speaking of TOW vehicles (lol) Tesla's semi has some pretty impressive stats. 0-60 with a full load of 80k pounds in 20 seconds. And highway speed going up grades. Wouldn't it be nice to not be crawling up a hill behind a truck?
Yah. Our last camping trip we took the sea to sky highway from Horseshoe bay up to Whistler. We camped overnight in Pemberton and then headed out to Lilllooet on the Duffy lake road. Crazy highway. 13 percent grades and switchbacks for 101 kilometres. But it was effortless for the car trailer combo, both up and down. Never used the brake pedal once, even on the 13 percent grades.
Here is the energy graph for that section. Can you tell when the 13 percent grade started? :)
It’s a beautiful trip, but if you are towing or have a larger rig it’s not for the faint of heart. :). Depending if we were going up or down we could smell hot catalytic converters and hot brakes. :).
