Well here we come... just traded in our 2013 Kodiak hybrid on a 2015 Jayco Eagle 314BHDS. from towing 23 feet to 37 feet... lord help me what the heck was i thinking?

I think you've made a wise decision. Still, if you were only going to tow short distance on easy terrain it might have been a reasonable risk, but I sure wouldn't have wanted to plan a trip to Colorado or down the Blue Ridge Parkway.
