That is a step down from the Laramie LTD isn't it.
Ultimately, it will boil down to seat comfort. My current Silverado LTZ has the most comfortable bucket I have ever sat in. Too bad they didn't carry that over in the redesign.
I use my truck for work also and do a lot of driving.
The rougher ride would by no means be a deal killer. It isn't that much rougher. It could be as you said the tires could be overinflated.
