I spent many years at a GM and Jeep dealer. Back in the 80s the Jeep Grand Cherokee made me a lot of money in the service dept. Back then, I wouldn't take one for free. The GMs were reasonably good. Now 25 years later...I drive a Dodge Ram and won't let the GMs park in my driveway (oil leaks). Don't get married to one brand, sooner or later you will get burned. You'll notice all dealers have repair shops, parts departments and repair technicians...None of them are perfect.
