The thermal package in most TT's (mine included) is a little bit of a joke. Probably more of a marketing tool than anything.
You don't necessarily get a trailer with better insulation, or double pane windows, but rather just an enclosed underbelly that they pipe a hose off the furnace down to. It's supposed to keep the tanks from freezing in the colder parts of season, but even that is limited.
The underbelly material itself is just a thin piece of corrugated plastic which has very little r-value so in reality, how much insulating can it really do?
