The truck will be fine for that size trailer. One of the more popular size trailers for any 2500 truck regardless of brand.
As was mentioned the 2500 has the 11.5" AAM rear axle which is the same axle on the 3500 SRW and DRW trucks.
Most 2500 GM trucks don't need bags for leveling till the load in the bed exceeds the 2500 lb range.
