Considering 21' TT w/slide & V8 SUV
After catarac surgery and now floaters after retina tears in both eyes which affect my vision, I am going to have to sell my Class C and am considering a 21' with slide with possibly a Dodge Durango 5...

Reasonable combo, yes. I dissagree with the reasoning stated for going to a narrower one. 5" narrower trailer vs. your MH will not be. You have less control over a trailer tracking or moving a few inches vs. a motorhome. Now some shorter TTs are also 7' and 7.5', so that may be more useful in practice. The trailer will still move around.
