I cannot offer you any specific information on this Jayco model, but I have seen a Rockwood that offers the 3 bed system similar to this.

Based on the similarities, I would think that it would suit your sleeping needs provided you have 2 younger ones that can sleep on the fold-down table.

this is incorrect and you must be thinking of old canvas.
modern canvas for hybrids and popups, is vinylized canvas. causing leaks by "touching" the inside of the canvas, is a comment from someone that has never owned a popup or hybrid for the past 30 years.:R unless there's a hole or bad seam, water will not penetrate the canvas on modern trailers.

what can happen is condensation, when the trailer is closed up and doesn't allow for air movement. especially when running the furnace.
this is easily resolved by cracking a vent and window and running a bunk fan or Fantastic Fan and by using Popup Gizmos on the canvas ends.

as to the 23F being capable of sleeping 6 kids and two adults, a quad bunkhouse would sleep the same as a 3-bed hybrid, like the 23F.
a 3-bed hybrid is capable of sleeping 2 adults and 8 kids(depending on the size of kids), while being way shorter and lighter than a quad bunkhouse trailer.
