- Toolguy5Explorer IIIWe have a 2013 325MKS Chapparal. We are now going on our 4th year with it. Had a few issues that most of them where taken care of with warranty. The stuff that was not we went to the Coachmen Rally in Indiana and they fixed for free.
I loved the floor plan when we got it. I have seen other floor plans I like a lot more now but different MFG.
We still like ours we retired in 2014 and have spent between 3 and 4 months through out the year in it.
Don't see to many on the road.
Good Luck and Happy shopping. - Winged_OneExplorerMight want to post the question here: Coachmen forum
- RonandpatExplorerWe bought a 336TSIK last summer and have been happy so far. Just a few small issues that were fixed. My biggest concern is that they do not have a lot of cargo carrying capacity. The brochures state 1700 lbs but when we received the unit, with the option that were on the unit cut the carry capacity to 1200 lbs.
- Ccoffman02ExplorerWe are looking at a 2016 Chaparral 29RLS. It definitely seems like we are getting a lot for the money- it has an outdoor kitchen, bike rack, fireplace and very spacious. We are kind of bummed, though, because one of the recliners is broken. We aren't sure if they are planning on getting a new one for it or if they are going to fix it. We just hope that is not a sign that the furniture or anything else in the camper is poor quality. Another dealership did say that that is not all that uncommon and that it had happened to them. He said it's sometimes hard to control when so many people are in and out of it.
- Dave_and_SueExplorerWe are on our second Chappy. Bought a new 29RKS in 2014.Just traded it last month for a 370FL.We really like the bang for the buck you get with the Chaparrals. What unit are you looking at?
