bumpy - hone_eagleExplorerThese lists have been less then helpful for a few years now ,they are all very good and comparable.
The difference from best to worst is infinitesimal statistically - Ron3rdExplorer IIIThe wife's a proud GM owner of a new Traverse. We've owned Toyotas, Infinitis, etc, etc, for many years and when she went shopping for a new SUV, she compared it against the new Highlander. No comparison; the Traverse has much better fit and finish, nicer interior, more interior room, better third row seating, quieter, more horsepower, better mpg, better warranty and so on. It blew the new redesigned Highlander away. GM's doing some good things.
- broark01ExplorerI am glad GM is coming back but still resent bailing them out and their treatment of non union professionals.. I only drove GM for 30 years and worked with them for 10 years. I associate GM with the current administration, my issue not GM.

X4 - I pretty much ignore Consumer Reports for the most part, but I did look at a new GMC .5 ton this weekend, and I was pretty impressed.
The one thing that Consumer Reports won't report is the small ripples that would form in the sheet metal on GM's previous gen trucks, and even though this doesn't affect reliability; it just looks bad. The new gen trucks sheet metal seamed very sturdy mainly due to all the body creases which should resolve the sheet metal rippling effect.
Overall I got to say GMC has a really nice truck. - LimogesManExplorerI think they are trying to boost consumer confidence after releasing sale figures of their 2014 model year trucks.

X3 - ScottGNomadCR has no idea how to test trucks and their reports are almost comical they lack so much data.
I pay them no attention no matter who they like. - Cobra21ExplorerYeah!! for GM. I love them and they are great. I have had really good luck
with them, but I know others love Ford & Dodge. I'm glad we all have options!
