I strongly encouge the long wheelbase GM SUVs, Suburban and Yukon XL. THe 3rd row becomes usable for anyone over 5 years old AND and the cargo space behind the third row is usable for more than a grocery bag.
The tow ratings for 2009+ GM half ton SUVs vary based on the axle ratio and the HD trailering equipment. Evidence of both can be found on the RPO sticker in the glove box. You'll want to find one with both GU6 and Z82.
