converter

have no charge when plugged into shore power. I have an older Prowler 19E and cant find the converter or any fuses associated with it. I would have thought it would be in the electrical panel under the fridge (half are 12V fuses and the other half is breakers for the 110 stuff. doesn't appear to be a box or anything up front near the battery either. any suggestions?

  • I did pull the panel cover. nothing. mine looks similar to the above pic but without the convertor section just stops under the panel. cant post pics. work blocks the hosting sites. can email them is someone can post them for me.
  • I agree, most of the time converters are located fairly close to the panel. If you remove the electrical box cover so you can see, it's probably next or under the panel. I just had a convert go out on my nearly new TT and it is located just under the switch panel. Easy to test and easy to remove if needed.
  • Converters are typically close to the panel box. One of the 110V breakers will connect power to the converter.

Look carefully all around the panel box for an enclosed box with air vents.

Report back your findings so we can all learn.
