The first generation 6.7's Powerstrokes (yours) reportedly experienced greater efficiency than the latest, second generation engines. I've been following the Powerstroke forums closely since the introduction of the '15 and there are many complaints over mileage. The test drive I mentioned would also support those complaints albeit the truck was brand new.
ETA- There is some conjecture over the frequency of regens causing the mileage to suffer. I wouldn't discount that theory as all that horsepower isn't without its drawbacks.
