We use a stainless Esbit folding charcoal grill .
We line it with tin foil for easy clean up. It folds up to a very small small thin package, easy to store, has adjustable rack height and always stays in the camper in it's own bag . For two people it's fine. Sometimes I cut up and split small pieces of wood and cook on wood . It's the size of a small laptop.
