The roof on my Nomad is a truss style roof and that means that there are several openings across the individual supports...
The picture below is a typical RV truss roof frame... In actual practice, I dropped the bathroom light fixture and fished a wire through the openings of the truss frame to the opening I had cut for the wire where the new light fixture was to be positioned...
It's really pretty easy to fish through walls and ceilings once you get the hang of it... Doing so enables the individual to make quite a few more mods that require power...
