This will work for a fiver (we have) or a trailer. I've always loved the basement slide outs the MHs have so my son made me one....5' long by about 33" wide (as wide as the side compartment doorway).
2x4 bolted to floor. Routed to receive second 2x4 upon which full-extension 500-lb slide mechanism is attached. Frame of drawer is 1x3; floor is 3/4 plywood. We used the 500-lb slide extension because when moving, its rating goes to 300 lbs.
